It is with the heaviest heart we share the passing of Isabella Anne Nottoli on July 20, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. "Bella" was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on April 11, 1995 and from that very first day she was lit from within.
Bella was kind, inclusive and had no judgement for anyone. She connected with people through her laughter and spirit, always seeking joy and experiences.
Bella loved her siblings fiercely. She carried them as babies and was connected throughout her travels. She cooked for them, cared for them, told stories and shared recipes. Bella loved family gatherings and bringing people together while also being an adventurer who traveled early across India, Italy, Ireland, France and Costa Rica.
Her passion for art and fashion began early, she would sew her own clothes in middle school, won awards for her ceramics, drawings and paintings in high school and received a scholarship to attend the Art Institute in Chicago for Fashion Design.
She loved the earth and being in nature which led her to her joy for organic farming. She loved hard and threw herself into all her various passions. Her quest for knowledge and distant cultures made her an incredible student of life. Her creativity was inspiring as she embraced the new, constantly reinventing herself and up for any challenge.
Learning new skills all the time, Bella fearlessly explored with an active and intelligent mind that was a sponge to not only learn but share her vision.
Music was vital to Bella. Her soul was drawn to festivals and the communities that they drew, She danced, she loved, she lived.
Our beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and dearest friend, Bella, is survived by her father, Mark Nottoli, birth Mother Samira Nottoli, Stepmother Ellie Crouch Nottoli, along with her brothers Nicholas 27, Vincent 19, Lorenzo 17 and her sister Francesca 14, her Grandmother Anne Courtwright, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends that were also family.
The great love we feel for Bella is only rivaled by the pain we feel for her loss. Her big laugh and being first one on the dance floor bring us joy as we are finding our way to honor this bright spirit and share what she has meant o us all as her heart will live on in all of us forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elawa Farm Foundation, a place Bella spent so much time and where she found so much peace and joy.
