Bella was born to Felix and Agapita Mestas, on January 3, 1942, in Hoehne, Colorado and was called to our Heavenly Father on November 6, 2024, peacefully at her home in Lakewood, Colorado.

She was one of ten children, with five sisters and four brothers. She attended Hoehne High School through 7th grade before her family moved to Denver when she was 14. There, she continued her education at Baker Junior High and West High School.
