Irmgard Denise Gawadzinski

Irmgard Denise Gawadzinski, a native of Berlin, Germany and a longtime resident of Aurora, Colorado, passed away June 5, 2016. Survived by son, Douglas (Lydia); daughter, Susan; grandson, Douglas; and relatives residing in Germany. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Anton G.; parents, Johanna and Joachim; and sister, Charlotte. An avid gardener, she also was a member of the Ladies Classic Bowling League ""Lady Bugs"" for over 40 years, lifelong member of the Order of the Amaranth, Eastern Star, Ladies of the Nile and Oriental White Shrine. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11th, 11:00 AM, Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO 80014. A Reception to follow at 12:30 PM, at Aurora Masonic Lodge, 1625 Florence Street, Aurora, CO 80010. Memorial donations may be made to The Amaranth Diabetes Foundation or CU Cancer Center Fund.
