Imogene Louise Hahn

Imogene Hahn peacefully passed away on April 21, 2024, at her home surrounded by family at the age of 91. 
 
Imogene, daughter of Leo and Teresa Goscha, was the oldest of 11 children. She had wonderful memories of growing up surrounded by a big, loving family living on a farm near Lenora, Kansas. While attending Leoville Rural Catholic High School, she went to a dance and met the love of her life, Bill Hahn. Following graduation and Bill’s honorable discharge after serving in the Korean War, they married at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Norton, Kansas. They then made the big move to Colorado. To that union six children were born: Becky (Pat) Galvin, Debbie (Roger) Metter, Steve (Margaret) Hahn, Cathy (Mark) Troxel, Dan (Jenni) Hahn, and Mark (Beth) Hahn. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Staci Metter, Krissy Simmerman, Nick Hahn, Curtis Hahn, Sheridan Hahn, Brenna Kaminky, Andersen Hahn, Emma Hahn, Sydney Hahn, Reid Hahn; and nine great-grandchildren plus one on the way.

Imogene was proceeded in death by her husband, Bill, who she missed every day of her remaining life. She was also proceeded in death by her parents and five of her siblings: Jerry Goscha, Don Goscha, Bill Goscha, Joan Riemann and Jeanine Augustine.

Imogene’s legacy is her strong faith, deep love of family, helping others, and sense of humor that she shared with all and instilled in her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
