Ida Vigil Smith

June 4, 1918-September 18, 2009. Ida lived a full and joyful life as a devoted daughter, sister, niece, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Ida was preceded in death by her parents John B. and Sarah Vigil, sisters Rebecca Davidson, Isabel Zang, Mary Vigil, brother Joseph Vigil, husband Clyde Smith, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ida is survived by sisters Carmen Wilson and Shana Jean McKain, brothers John B. Vigil, Bernard Vigil, Ernest Vigil. Loving mother of Sarah Anne Vigil, Sharon Leigh Routa and Stephanie Cynthia Mendez. Devoted grandmother of Sarah Routa, John Routa, Cheryl Bruny, Angel Marrujo, Denise Mares and James Mendez. Great-grandmother of twelve, special aunt to Robbie McKain, beloved aunt, great-aunt and friend to many. A Celebration of Life will be held with a Rosary and Memorial Mass, 10:00AM, Thursday, September 24, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood 80227.
