Passed away Friday, July 24, 2009. Husband of Eva Eileen Carter; father of Patricia Thompson (Scott), Rose Carter; grandfather of Matthew, Molly and Mark Thompson, Jesse and Jade Carter; brother of Thomas Carter, Wanda Shelby and Mary Degenhart. A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 28th, from 6-8PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave, Aurora. A graveside service will be held at 11:15AM, Wednesday, July 29th at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Pavillion ""C"".
