Houshang Movaffagh passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025. He was born on January 24, 1933, and lived a life distinguished by faith, service, and profound spiritual nobility.
A faithful and devout member of the Bahá’í Faith, Houshang dedicated his life to serving humanity and the Cause of God at the highest levels. He was widely respected as a scholar of the Bahá’í Writings, possessing a deep and luminous understanding of the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh, which he shared with humility, wisdom, and love.
Endowed with a saint-like character, a pure heart, and an angelic nature, Houshang touched the lives of all who knew him through his kindness, integrity, and steadfast devotion. His life was a quiet yet powerful testimony to the principles of unity, justice, and selfless service.
He is survived by his beloved wife and two devoted sons and four beautiful grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered for the light he brought into the world and the enduring spiritual legacy he leaves behind.
