Hildy Kronen was born on November 15, 1950 in New York, New York and died on Sunday, June 28, 2026 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 75. 

She leaves behind 2 sons, Ryan and Sam, 2 brothers, Seth and William, 2 nieces, Nora and Cindy, 2 nephews, Zachary and Jack, an ex-husband, William, a dog, Leo, and many other family members and friends who will remain unnamed but will carry a piece of her to their own graves. 

Hildy was many things during her lifetime – an introvert-turned-socialite, a hippie, a scholar, a photographer, a mother, a city rat, a gardener, a teacher, a runner, a yoga instructor, an artist. She ran in many circles, and was beloved wherever she went, perhaps precisely because of this: she didn’t bother herself with how the world would define her. 

She lived a life as decent, wholesome, and authentic as she was, driven by her own beliefs and values. Hildy was good, kind, generous, creative, curious, loyal, resilient, and full of life, with the most infectious laugh you will ever hear. That is how she will be remembered, loved, and missed, for as long as memory serves.
