Henry I. (Sandy) Lowe

Henry Irving Lowe (Sandy) passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Sandy was a prominent attorney in Denver for 40 years, notably serving from 2001 to 2018 at Lowe, Fell, and Skogg, the firm he founded. He graduated from Oberlin College and from the University of Colorado Law School. Sandy was an excellent violinist and loved to play chamber music. He was a supporter of Opera Colorado and attended concerts whenever possible. Sandy loved the mountains and the great outdoors. He skied and hiked and also played tennis and golf and followed all his favorite sports teams. An avid reader of literature and poetry and philosophy coupled with his genuine interest in other people and a wonderful sense of humor made Sandy a lively and engaging conversationalist. He had many friends who cared deeply about him. 

He is survived by his wife Georgia Bastounis Lowe, his children Henry Fisher Lowe; Christopher Patrick Lowe; Katherine Fallon Lowe; and Evangelos George Lowe; his daughter in law Lily Black, his son in law Tyler Lowe, his grandson Reuben Black-Lowe; as well as his sister and brother in law Edie and Joe Auner and their families.
