Henan Zhang

Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Henan Zhang, passed away at the age of 74 on June 3, 2026, in Lone Tree, Colorado, after a long illness.

Henan was a fighter. For 27 years, he faced his illness with courage, patience, and determination. Through it all, he kept his warmth, his smile, and his devotion to his family.

He was hardworking, curious, and always eager to learn. He was generous with his time and always ready to help others. Before his illness, he was proud of his work on a World Bank-supported agricultural and food aid project, helping bring shipments of corn and wheat to China to support farmers in poor rural communities. It was one of the most meaningful chapters of his life.

Henan cherished his family, especially his granddaughter Chloe and grandson Jacob. In the photos he leaves behind, we will always see his gentle smile and the quiet joy he found in being surrounded by family. We will remember his humor, his strong will, his kindness, and the steady love he gave us in his own way.

A Buddhist service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014.

Rest in peace, Baba. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
