Helen Einspahr

Helen Ilene Haynes Einspahr was born April 16, 1919 in Phillips County, Colorado. She died January 4, 2021 at Denver Hospice Lowry Inpatient Care Center.

Her parents were Clyde William and Mary Anna Noren Haynes. She had eight brothers and four sisters. She enjoyed living on the family farm and attending country school. She graduated from Holyoke High School in 1936.

She worked for several neighbors and 8 years on a ranch where she met Marvin. They were married February 26, 1941. They both worked on their farm and had 68 years together before his death in 2009.

Helen enjoyed making pottery, ceramics, stained glass, knitting, playing cards and bingo. She was a great cook and a member of many organizations, clubs and a lifetime member of the Methodist Church.

In 1965 they moved to Julesburg and she worked 14 years as a nurse's aide in the hospital & nursing home. They also lived in Holyoke several years before retiring in Denver at Porter Place.

In 2017 she met Leonard Williams at Porter Place and they shared many good times together with

family and friends. She was saddened by his death in 2019.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde & Mary, husband, Marvin, daughter, Irene, sisters, Ruby Roberts and Vivian Howland, brothers, Carroll, Wilmer, Harold, Ronald, Garry, Larry, and Gerald Haynes and many in-laws, nieces & nephews and other relatives.

She is survived by brother, Delbert Haynes and two sisters, Charlotte Pate and Marilyn Kirkwood daughters, Marva, Barbara and Mary.

Grandchildren, Wendee, Nathan, Nicklas, and Amber. Great Grandchildren Brandon, Sean, Clason, Cade, Ashlyn and Callie. In addition to several in-laws, nieces and nephews and other relatives.

The family requests memorials to Denver Hospice Lowry Inpatient Care Center, 8229 E. Lowry Blvd, Denver CO 80230.
