Helen Joanne ""Jody"" Darfler

Helen Joanne ""Jody"" Darfler (Strohl) died peacefully surrounded by family on October 13, 2016 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 75. Jody was born May 28, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa to Dr. Clarence Orville Strohl and Dr. Helen Lilian Strohl. She graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas with a BA degree in Education. She married Gary Alexander Darfler in 1973 and had two children. Jody is survived by her husband Gary; children Kirk Alexander Darfler (Jennifer Goss) , Elizabeth Lora (Greg) Bernier; grandchildren Dakota Darfler, Jack Goss, Drue Darfler, Katherine Goss, Evan Darfler, Christina Bernier, Alexis Bernier, James Bernier, Garrett Bernier; sister Sheryl Holt; brother Rodney Strohl. She is preceded in death by her parents Orville and Helen. A Celebration of Life is scheduled Tuesday., October 25th, 10:30 AM, Light of Christ Anglican Church, 4000 W. Yale Ave., Denver. A reception will follow at Fox Hollow Golf Course.
