Memorial Service
Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church

Heather Nicole Wallace (Bennett) completed her baptismal journey and returned to the LORD at age 45. She was born on April 4th, 1980, and passed away on February 22, 2026. She lived her entire life in the Denver area and graduated from Golden High School in 1998 and went on to take some additional classes at Red Rocks Community College.
Heather was a very kind and caring person and always had a beautiful smile on her face and was loved by so many others. She spent most of her working life in retail sales at Kohl’s or King Soopers and worked several years at Mardel’s Christian Store where she also served as a Department Manager. Heather really enjoyed going for bike rides with her husband Steve on their electric bikes. She loved to go for walks and take pictures along the way, and she also loved to travel – especially to Hawaii.
Heather was an amazing mother to her 2 sons Austin (age 18) and Preston (age 15). She loved them with all her heart, and they were her pride and joy. She will be eternally missed by her immediate family which includes her husband Steve, her sons Austin and Preston, her parents Bryan and Sandy Bennett, her sisters Kari Trullinger and Kristi Aheron and her husband Joe, her nephews Skyler and Cameron Anderson and his wife Bird, and her niece Makenzi Kingsley and her husband Quint.
Heather’s memorial service will be held on March 7th, 2026, at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church located in Lakewood, CO. The service will begin at 2:00 PM. Any gifts or donations made in her memory should be made to the GBM Foundation whose mission is to support innovative research that focuses on improving survival rates and ultimately finding a cure for Glioblastoma brain tumors.
