Harold Dean Anglin

Harold Dean Anglin, nicknamed "Babe" passed away peacefully at Sumeran Glen Nursing Home in Centennial, Colorado,  on May 28, 2024 after a long battle with dementia. He was born in Natalia, Texas to Ernie and Olin Anglin on January 14, 1936.  Harold had three brothers, Johny Mack, Val Gene and Coy Anglin, along with two sisters, Carmalynn Russell and Arlene Stephenson.  

He served in the Army and was honorably discharged.  On February 15, 1963 he married Brenda Wilson.  They had two sons, Matt and Dan.
Harold lived in Castle Rock, Colorado for  31 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Castle Rock and the Eagles Club of Castle Rock for many years.  Harold workd as an over the road truck driver for multiple companies and retired as a driver for Mobile Premix Concrete as a member of the Teamsters Union.

On February 16, 2001, Harold was happily married to Vicky Lynn Sayers until her passing in 2019.  He later moved to Blanchard, Oklahoma in 2003 where he lived until 2019.  Harold was a cowboy at heart.  He loved horses, rodeos, steer roping and the country life.  

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Johny Mack, Val Gene and Coy Anglin.  Harold is survived by his sisters, Carmalynn Russell and Arlene Stephenson.  He is also survived by his sons, Matt and Dan Anglin, grandchildren, Matt Anglin Jr., Connor Anglin and Brooke Anglin.

Services will be held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home at 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado. Dates and times are yet to be determined.  He will be buried with military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery, date and time still to be determined.
