Gweneth Claire Lemmon

Gweneth Claire Lemmon, age 85, passed away peacefully September 1, 2023, with both of her beloved families around her bedside at her home in Arvada, Colorado.

Gwen was born in Saskatchewan Canada and was married to Donald R. Houghtaling for 48 years. After his passing she was blessed to be married to J. Perry Lemmon for 14 years.

Gweneth's parents, George K. Johnson, and Hazel L. Ham, her first husband, Donald R. Houghtaling, and their son Bruce J. Houghtaling, proceeded her in death.

Gweneth also has a surviving brother Keith Johnson and sister Cheryl Sylvestre in Canada.

Gweneth is survived by her husband J. Perry Lemmon, her son Scott D. Houghtaling and his wife Christine L. Houghtaling, and her daughter Dedria D. Dozbaba and her husband Micheal P. Dozbaba.

There are five Houghtaling grandchildren, Kristinn, Amanda, Nicholas, Jeffrey, and Stephanie. There are also 15 great grandchildren.

There are four Lemmon stepchildren, Christina, Suzanne, John, and Deborah. There are fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Gwen was a beautiful, precious, loving wife, mother, and nana to all those listed above.

Catholic Mass will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Anne, located at 7555 Grant PL., Arvada, CO 80002. A reception at 11:00 AM after the mass, and burial at 2:00 PM at Ft. Logan with her first husband Donald, a former United States Marine and Denver fireman.
