Gregory Leonard Barth, age 71, of Littleton CO, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. Greg was born in Englewood, CO, son of the late Henry and Marian Barth. He attended Englewood High School. Greg was very kind, compassionate and fun to be around. He was the person that would give you the shirt off his back, a room to stay when you had nowhere to go, money if you were behind, sprinkler repair, etc. He would help in any way he could. With his heart of gold, he made friends anywhere he went, and could easily strike up a conversation with anyone.
Greg dedicated 40+ years to the railroad and loved every minute of it. He worked his way up from an apprentice sheet metal worker to a manager when he retired. He loved the railroad and anything about trains.
Throughout his life his family was everything to him. He dedicated his life to putting others before himself, and being a caregiver for different loved ones for the last 50 years. Helping others and giving to others gave him joy in his life and he loved to help in anyway he could. He was always striving to be the best husband, best father, best brother, best friend and best person he could be.
Greg also loved just moving, whether it be heading to bingo, going to a sporting event, getting the cars washed or just helping out someone he did not sit still.
He loved to work on his yard, it was his pride and joy. He was not called the sprinkler king for nothing. He put in many sprinkler systems at Stacey’s houses (even got asked a couple times to do the neighbors!). He was the guy you could call or FaceTime if there was any type of sprinkler problem.
You would also find him polishing up his hot rods, rod runs and car shows. He won many best in show!
Most of all Greg loved his family fiercely and would do anything for him. He rarely missed a sporting event, a concert, a play or anything to do with his girls. He was the role model for what a great family man is by how he treated his family. Spending time with his girls was his greatest joy. Vacations, road trips or just staycations he would always have something special planned to make it the most memorable.
He is survived by his daughter Stacey Barth. He is also survived by his sister, sister in-law, brothers and brother in law.
