In loving memory of Giles Stanley Everist, who passed away at his home in Centennial on August 12, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 17, 1976 in Chicago, IL and spent his youth in Libertyville, IL. After graduating from Libertyville High School, he enlisted in the Marine Corps which guided his love of country.
He settled in Colorado where he had a successful career as a Principal Solutions Engineer for Twillio Inc. and was the proud owner of Chicago Mike’s in Centennial, CO. He was a member of Mission Hills Church in Littleton.
Giles was a devoted family man and created a beautiful life with his legacy living on through his daughters, Natalya and Evelina, and his wife Anzhela. He had a passion for creating lasting memories at the dinner table and enjoyed friendly cooking competitions with his brothers. His most fulfilling moments were time spent with his family and friends, including watching his daughters play tennis and music. He enjoyed listening to music, time in the outdoors, traveling, and playing golf.
Giles is survived by his wife, Anzhela, daughters Natalya and Evelina, his parents Sydney Everist (Harriet) and Alexandra Everist, his siblings Phaedra Poppen (Dion), Grahame Everist, Brandon Everist (Molly), and James Kingsland (Jen). Giles was also loved by his nieces and nephews, Kaitlin Aken, Hughen Everist, Scarlett Everist, and Elijah Everist. He was preceded in death by his brother Trevor Everist and his grandparents Stanley and Maria Kowalski.
Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 26th at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Centennial, CO, with viewing at 11am and service at 12pm. Military honors and burial will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 2pm.
