Gertrude ""Trudy"" O'Reilly

""Trudy"", age 89, passed away September 26, 2013. Born August 16, 1924 in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York, Trudy worked during WWII at Grumman Aircraft and later became a nurse, graduating from NYU's Ballard School of Nursing. Trudy was a devoted mother of three, a wonderful baker, a skilled seamstress and knitter, an avid reader, a lover of dogs and birds, and a lifetime spiritual seeker. Trudy will be remembered during regular daily mass on October 3 at 6:30 am at Carmel of the Holy Spirit, 6138 S Gallup Street in Littleton, where she was a volunteer for many years. The Peace Garden at the Rocky Mountain Memorial Park, located at 11150 E Dartmouth Avenue will be a place of solace for those wishing to remember Trudy in years to come.
