GERRY WAYNE KNUTSON

Gerry W Knutson, 76, died unexpectedly August 27, 2025, at home. He was born March 23, 1949, in Rigby, Idaho, the son of Kenneth Ardean, Sr. and Frances Lottie (Atwood) Knutson.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth Ardean, Jr. & Keith Carl. Surviving, in addition to his siblings, Terry Knutson & Kim Beard & her husband Russ Beard. Surviving, in addition to his daughters, Sherri Rhodes & her husband Gary Rhodes, Karri Claridge, Gee Adamson & her husband Brian Adamson, Tee Martinez & her husband Nathan Martinez, Kayla McGaha & her husband Scotty McGaha; eleven grandsons (Austin, Cody, Beau, Connor, Mason, Cole, Logan, James, David, Aiden & Sterling), seven granddaughters (Lexi, Brooke, Kassi, Bella, Haylee, Zoey & Kinsly), two great grandsons (Nicholaus & Zuko) & three great granddaughters (Audri, Alyza & Calli).

He served in the US Navy 1968-1971. He worked as a concrete dispatcher most of his life & was well respected by all that came in contact with him. He was a Lakewood resident for many years and a loving dad, son, brother, granddad, great granddad, uncle, cousin and friend to all he met.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, Family Viewing at 9:45-10:10 am, Public Viewing 10:15-10:50 am, Service 11:00 am-12:00 pm, Horan & McConaty 3101 S Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. Burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Reception to follow at Clemet Park.
