Dr. Gerald H. Starkey, Jr., M.D., 77, a physician and committed public servant died Sunday August 30, 2009. He leaves behind two beloved daughters, Renee Starkey (Dwight) Duncan and Carol Ann Starkey. Dr. Starkey further leaves cherished granddaughter, Chelsea Angela Duncan; three sisters, Kathy (Starkey) Ravenel, Karen (Starkey) Nunez, and Penny (Starkey) Wichel, as well as many loving friends and associates. His wife, Angela Marie Scavello, preceded him in death. Visitation, Wednesday, 4-7pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd. Funeral Mass, Thursday, 10am, Holy Family Catholic Church, 4380 Utica St.
