Gerald "Jerry" Greenwald, 87, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on June 19th, 2024 after a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease.

Jerry was born on June 16, 1937 in Denver, and was a graduate of East High School. Afterwards, he attended Colorado State University where he studied agriculture and business.

Jerry proudly served with honor in the Colorado Air National Guard's 120th Tactical Fighter Squadron.

In 1961, Gerald met Sharon Evans during a church outing on the Winter Park ski train, and they were wed in 1964, going on to have two children: Kenneth and Karina.

He owned and operated Kwik Way Cleaners at the corner of Hampden and Logan in Englewood for over 35 years.

Jerry was a passionate volunteer at St John's Episcopal Cathedral, and was tirelessly dedicated to the Park Hill Masonic Lodge as well as numerous community youth groups.

After Jerry and Sharon parted in 1997, he would go on to have other loves with whom he shared many adventures. Anyone who knew Jerry knew he was the most loving father and grandfather anyone could ask for. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved children, grandchildren, extended family and devoted friends.

A viewing will take place at Horan and McConaty at 1091 S Colorado Blvd, Denver CO, 80246 on Monday, July 15th, 2024 at 6 p.m.

A ceremonial remembrance in celebration of his life will take place at St John's Episcopal Cathedral at 1350 N Washington St, Denver, CO 80203 on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024 at 1 p.m.

 All are welcome to attend a reception/wake at the Resurrection Anglican Fellowship at 9250 E Belleview Ave, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 following Tuesday's services.
