Georgia Hamilton

Georgia Ann Hamilton passed away from natural causes on September 8, 2025. She leaves behind friends and family members who will greatly miss her, including her mother, sister, brother, in-laws, aunt, uncles, and nieces and nephew.

Georgia was born in Colorado at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in April of 1956 to Fern and George Hamilton. As part of an Air Force family, Georgia’s childhood was spent in many different locations including Georgia, Michigan, Illinois and the Philippines.

The family settled back in Colorado and this is where Georgia lived the majority of her life. She developed enduring friendships, and had deep bonds with many of her family members. 

She will be remembered for her amazing throaty laugh, her sharp intelligence, her poetry, her quest for spiritual knowledge, and the love she shared while on this earth.

A Celebration of her life will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. Burial will follow at 2pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C.
