Georgene Sanchez

Georgene Lee Oletski-Sanchez was born on March 2, 1946 in Denver, Colorado and passed away on November 7, 2015 in Thornton, Colorado. Georgene is survived by her husband, Julian (Roger) Sanchez; sisters, Wanda Ford, Diane Herrick, Mary Cessar and Ann Pinelli as well as former daughter-in-law Renae Sanchez and Renae' children, Gina, Gino and Gerald. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Sanchez, parents, Margaret and John Oletski Sr. and siblings Margaret Drobnick and John Oletski Jr. In the 1970's and early 1980's Georgene owned and operated La Tortilla Restaurant. Georgene was loved by her family and all who knew her for her many gifts that she shared with others including her generous heart, great sense of humor, and love of children. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. The Interment will follow the reception at 2:00 PM at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
