George Henry Clarke was born on February 22, 1939 in Denver, Colorado. George passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on December 1 in Lakewood, Colorado.
George spent his childhood years living with his parents Leroy and Mary and four sisters Ruthie, Charlotte, Gertrude and Wilma at Bell Cross Ranch just East of Parker. Not long after high school he was drafted into the United States Army. After his 4 years of military duty he was honorably discharged and married Yvonne. They had a house built in Golden where their son Clint was born in 1971.
Although he enjoyed his professional career at Commercial Testing Lab, his biggest passions were his love of family and the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and boat with his family and especially loved a good campfire.
He is survived by a loving family: his wife Yvonne, married 54 years, his son Clint & daughter in-law Amy, grandson Jacob, granddaughter Kacie and sister Charlotte. Although George will be missed, his legacy will continue through all the good memories and great stories.
