George Vanlingen

George Arnold VanLingen, 87 died at his Aurora home on November 7, 2022, of natural causes.

He was born on April 5, 1935, in Bandung, Indonesia to Gustaaf Arnold VanLingen and Geertruida (Zus) Steevenz. George lived in Aurora, Colorado and worked as a mechanical engineer until retiring in 1999. George was an avid sports fan. He loved watching all sporting events on TV, but his favorite was Hockey!

George was predeceased by his spouse Johanna Carolina Charlotte VanLingen.  Survivors include 2 sons, Marvin G. VanLingen(Tracy) and Stanley S. VanLingen(Renee), 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 4 siblings

Services will be held on Monday November 21, 2022 @ 10am, Horan & McConaty – 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora 80014. Relatives and friends are welcome, Reception will be immediately following at Noonans Event Center located at 13521 E. Iliff Ave Aurora, CO 80014 (I-225 & Iliff) from 11:30am-1:30pm.
