Today, we say goodbye to George Bounleuam Thammavongkeo.
George was a man of quiet strength and deep love. He didn’t need many words—his actions spoke for him. He showed us what it meant to live with honor, to be steady in difficult times, and to always put family first. His love was constant, something you could feel just by being near him.
He loved his grandchildren deeply. They brought him pride, joy, and light, and that love will live on through them always.
George was respected within the Lao community and by everyone who knew him. He lived with humility, dignity, and kindness, leaving a lasting impact simply by being who he was.
He is preceded in death by those he loved who went before him.
He is survived by his children: Soudsakhone Thammavongkeo and family; Amonetath Thammavongkeo; Sitthiphone Thammavongkeo and family; Jennie Pulse and family; Nancy Thammavongkeo and family; and Tommy Thammavongkeo and family.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, his brother Bounlorm Sumetho, and his nieces and nephews, who will carry his love, values, and legacy forward.
Losing him leaves an ache words cannot fully express. But what he gave us remains forever.
George, thank you for everything. You are deeply loved. Rest in peace.
