George William "Bill" Stock Jr.

George William "Bill" Stock, 89, of Lakewood, passed away March 2, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cherlyn Stock.

Bill was a proud Colorado native. He enjoyed many summers boating and water skiing with family and friends and journeying across the country in his motorhome. He was an avid golfer in his spare time and a devoted Broncos fan. 

His love of cars filled many hours. His Monte Carlo, Jeep, and Riatta were his prized possessions. He made sure all vehicles in his driveway were clean and ready to show. 

Bill had many fond memories of his days at Regis College and made life-long friends. He was a steadfast accountant, and even after his retirement from Arvada Hardwood Floors, he continued to do accounting and taxes for anyone that asked. 

In his later years, he was a devoted husband and caregiver for his wife, Chery. 

Memorial Service will be held Thursday March 7, 2024, 1:30pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, followed by committal at 3:00pm at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
