George Walter (Wally) Prager passed away on May 20, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Harlene and two children, Dianne (Forsyth) and Tim Prager. He is survived by four grandchildren: Dylann, Morgan (Forsyth) and Brittany, Kayla (Prager). A Memorial Service will be held Saturday June 13, 2015 at 2:00pm at Bethany Lutheran Church Chapel, 4500 East Hampton Avenue, Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. The family has suggested casual dress. Wally was born on May 6, 1932 in Trinidad, Colorado. At age three Wally moved to the Park Hill area of Denver where he attended Park Hill Elementary School, Smiley Junior High School and East High School. Wally earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Denver. While attending D.U. Wally was an active member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Dogs were an integral part of Wally's life. He raised a German Shepherd (Axel) that competed in obedience trials. Wally also raised four Airedales. His last dog, Kramer, a Border Terrier was Wally's shadow and misses his owner and best friend dearly. Wally worked in the oil industry approximately 25 years. He travelled by car throughout the Rocky Mountain region selling pipe and drilling supplies for oil field companies. After retiring from the oil industry Wally became a real estate broker selling residential properties. After 30 years of successful sales Wally retired to pursue other personal interests. Wally developed a love of biking and became a wellâknown personality as he bicycled around Bible Park on his recumbent bike. Wally also had a photographer's eye for nature. He specialized in taking pictures of nature and of his family. Wally's unique sense of humor manifested itself later in life when he insisted that he be referred to as ""WW""â Wonderful Wally. Wally was blessed to have so many friends in his lifeâ¦and we were blessed to have him as part of ours. We will miss him. Wally ""WW"" â We love you.
