PAPPAS, GEORGE George E. Pappas 80, of Denver, passed away on July 7. Born near Erie, Colorado on March 30, 1923. George owned Holly Inn and La Fonda de Acebo Restaurants. Father of Marlene Pappas, Monica (Patrick) Adams and George Pappas, all of Southern Calif. Survived by sister Elizabeth and sister-in-law Helen, numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, dear friend and caregiver Susan Pasci and godchild Melissa. Preceded in death by brother Michael G. Pappas, and sister Irene Kavas of Denver and sisters Elefthria, Helen and Mary of Crete, Greece. Trisagion Prayer Service Thursday, 7:00 pm Horan & McConaty 3201 S. Parker Rd.
