George Henry Adams III

George Henry Adams III died in his Lakewood home October 29th, 2014. George was born in Gunnison, Colorado on September 7, 1942. Most of his life was spent in Lakewood being raised with his twin brother by their mother Mary ""Betty"" Elizabeth Adams. George graduated from Lakewood High School. He married his high school sweetheart, and love of his life, Mary Rogers who had passed in 1965 due to complications from child birth. George's greatest accomplishment was his time as a Sergeant in the Jefferson County Sheriff's department. The joys in George's life were fishing, golfing, guns, his Schnauzers, family and his many friends. He is survived by his only child, son Brevan Adams and his twin brother Jim Adams.
