Gary Lee Stone

Gary, 73, of Colorado Springs, passed away November 29, 2014 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Born March 16, 1941 in Colorado Springs to Darrell and Maxine Stone. Gary was a successful businessman. During his time here on earth, he rode bulls in the rodeo, served his country in the United States Army, loved and laughed with his family and friends, put smiles on faces, and enjoyed cold beer. He is preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Barbara and their daughter, Amber Rae; brother, Doug; and step-daughter, Mindy Farist, daughter of Diana. He is survived by son, Brocklyn; granddaughter, Kamilla; former spouse of 20 years Pat and her children, Sherri, Lori and Robbie, and former spouse Diana and her daughter, Michelle; half-sister, Cheri Ferbrache (Bill Johnson); half-brother, Greg Ferbrache (Mary); and step-sister, Judy Obermeyer (Mike); along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014, 10:00 AM with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM, both at The Springs Funeral Home, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Graveside Service will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
