Gary Dwayne Snook, a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, partner, co-worker, and friend, passed away on his 82nd birthday, May 18th, 2025, in Castle Pines, Colorado. Born on May 18th, 1943, in Pueblo, CO, Gary lived a life full of love, joy, and unwavering dedication to those around him.

Gary served our country in the United States Army and National Guard. Gary’s first job after high school was working in the brick yard in Pueblo making bricks in the extreme heat. A self-made man professionally, Gary worked in the steel industry and worked his way up from the front line to an Executive of a large steel manufacturing company. His dedication and hard work were evident in every step of his career, and he was respected and admired by his colleagues.

Gary was a man who always thought of others first. His smile and laugh could light up any room, bringing warmth and happiness to everyone he encountered. He dedicated his life to being there for his family, friends, and co-workers, always showing up no matter the circumstances. Gary's presence brought joy and a sense of calm to every situation, and he was loved and relied upon by everyone who knew him.

Known for his good nature and the ability to never meet a stranger, Gary's kindness and generosity were felt by all. He had a unique gift for making people laugh and feel at ease, whether through dancing, sharing a joke, or simply being a comforting presence. Even as he battled Alzheimer's and Dementia for over five years, Gary remained consistent in his approach to life, continuing to bring joy to those around him.

Gary had many hobbies that he was passionate about, including hunting, nature, working with his hands, his train collection, dancing, bowling, golf and watching sports. These activities brought him immense joy and allowed him to connect with others in meaningful ways.

Gary took his last breath at 3:33 pm, the hour of Divine Mercy, a fitting time for a man who embodied compassion and grace. While we will all miss Gary dearly, we find solace in knowing that he is now in Heaven, free from suffering and at peace.

Gary's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. . He leaves behind his beloved partner Carole and his cherished family - Brent, Todd, Jennifer, Ben, James, Zane, & Shaelyn - as well as extended family, friends, and a community who will forever cherish the memories and lessons he imparted. Rest in peace, Gary Snook. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.
