Gary Sandberg

Gary Karl Sandberg of Arvada, Colorado passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the age of 82.  He was born April 26, 1939 to Holger and Hazel Sandberg.  He graduated from Scappoose High School in 1957 followed by Oregon State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1961.  He married Janice Fullerton in 1963.  Gary had a passion for music and computers.  He played drums in his college dance band and for many years in church and community theater events.  He had a keen ear and enjoyed keeping up on advancements in sound equipment technology.  Gary enjoyed computer programming as his occupation and as a hobby after retirement.  Gary loved being a grandfather and watching his grandsons’ musical talents blossom.  Gary is predeceased by his wife Janice.  He is survived by daughters Jennifer and Kirsten and brother Darrold.  He will be dearly missed.
