Gary L. Jensen, born on December 7, 1946 in Denver Colorado, to Larry and Pauline Jensen. Passed away on July 5, 2025 at the age of 78.
Gary was a man of many stories and experiences. He was a Brother, Friend, Father, and Husband. His legacy started with his family by growing up with his brothers Jim and Roger. When Gary moved into high school, friendships were created that lasted through the rest of his life that resulted in additional Aunts and Uncles for his two surviving children. As he transitioned to the United States Army, he gained a foundation of honor and service that he used in his everyday life. After his military service, Gary transitioned to working in the construction industry where he spent the rest of his adult life doing work he loved and retired with Hensel Phelps Construction Co. after 22 years of service. One of Gary’s greatest accomplishments was raising his two surviving children, Thomas Matthew and Jessica as a single father. Without his love, support, dedication, and guidance, both of his children would not be where they are today. Another one of his greatest accomplishments was marrying Cyndy in September of 2005 where he found his other half and found a partner that he loved, respected, and supported dearly.
