Gary E. Harvey, age 67, of Greenwood Village, Colorado passed away May 18, 2020. He was born in Pittsburg, California on August 21, 1952. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara Bolton and son, Taylor Bolton-Harvey of Napa California.
Gary grew up in Anaheim, California. Growing up he had an affinity for animals and baseball. He received a Bachelor's of Science from the University of California at Davis and Master of Science from California State Fullerton. He moved to Denver, Colorado in 1979. Gary found his niche in sales working for DyChem International, an industrial chemical company in 1984. In 1995 he founded Achievement Dynamics, LLC, a Sandler Sales and Management Training franchise. Gary was an award-winning sales coach, speaker, and author. Throughout his life, Gary tackled every day with "Guts and Humor". Gary was fierce, valiant and courageous. He was larger than life when he entered the room, yet made everyone he met feel like a friend. He was known for his sense of humor, quick wit and gave great hugs. He and Barbara had a passion for wine, golf, and traveling the world along with their son.
Gary was diagnosed with Stage III prostate cancer in January of 2016 which progressed to Stage IV metastatic bone cancer in June of 2017. Gary's fight was tough and challenging, but like everything else in his life he took that as a challenge to conquer it.
He left this world knowing he was loved while never hesitating to share his love. It was not the years of life he lived that were cherished; it was the amount of love he had for life that we cherish.
Services will be held at Greenwood Community Church with a date to be determined given the state of affairs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TUCC Foundation, 2777 Mile High Stadium Circle, Denver, CO 80211 or TUCC.com in memory of Gary Harvey.
