Gabriel Laibinis

Gabriel “Michael” Laibinis, 40, of Highlands Ranch, CO, formerly of Newnan, GA, died late Tuesday morning, July 27, 2021 in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Born April 29, 1981 in Oklahoma City to Gabriel and Sandra Laibinis.  He is survived by his father and stepmother, Gabriel and Victoria Laibinis of Highlands Ranch, CO, and his grandfather, Kurt Paternoga of Edwards, IL.  Michael was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Laibinis, grandparents, Gabriel and Rita Laibinis, and grandmother, Shirley Paternoga.

Michael was an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch.  He also attended Sky Cliff Center in Castle Rock, where he had numerous friends, enjoyed games and outings, and his new task of feeding and grooming horses.  He loved 80’s music, Nascar and football. He never met a stranger.

Vigil service and rosary led by Father Gregory Bierbaum will begin at 4:00 pm followed by visitation until 6:00 pm. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Centennial, CO.  A funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch.  Father Gregory Bierbaum will officiate.  Burial will be in Roanoke Township Cemetery in Roanoke, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
