Fredric Leo Landauer

Fredric Leo Landauer left this earth & went to live with Our Father on May 11, 2025 after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Fred was born in Denver, Colorado May 28, 1947 to Jeanne (Montano) Landauer & Franklin Landauer. He was the 6th of 7 children. He grew up in the Park Hill neighborhood & attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School followed by Bishop Machbeuf High School. After High School he went on to put himself through college & graduated with double majors in Applied Mathematics & Psychology from Metropolitan State University.

While attending college, he met the love of his life, Nancy (Suvada) Landauer. They dated and were married on June 17, 1972 and had three wonderful children whom he loved fiercely.

After college he began working for Martin Marietta as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager where he retired from in 2001.

Fred fought the symptoms of MS fearlessly & led a spectacular life filled with love, laughter and adventure. He enjoyed life with his family and adored his 3 beautiful grandchildren. He loved traveling and cheering on his Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Nancy, his children Julie, Tara and Eric (Heather). His grandchildren, Éva Ellyn, Jack Ewing & Lucy Mae. Siblings, Thomas Landauer (deceased) Franklin Landauer, James Landauer (Nancy), Dianne (Landauer) Johnson (Hal), Maryann Landauer and Paul Landauer (Mary) as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held for Fred on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 5303 E. County Line Rd. Centennial, CO 80122.  A reception will be held following & all are welcome to join us as we celebrate his life & say farewell to our legend.
