Frederick "Fred" Brown

Fred Brown, 62, of Lakewood Colorado was born September 4, 1958, and passed away on January 27, 2021.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Joyce Brown, and brother Joey Brown. Survived by his children, Jon Brown, Melissa Leonard (Scott), Ramona Brown and Stevie Brown.  Grandfather of Giovanni, Natalia, Payton, Jordan, Camryn and Abigail.  Siblings include Judy Swanson (Steve), Jackie Meyer-Brown (Bruce), Carol Thompson (Jerry) and Tony Brown.  He will be remembered by a number of nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces.

He was a man of faith, dedication and perseverance all the way until the end.  He held his family and friends in the highest regard, though he wasn't one to say it to you out right. Not always the easiest to swallow, his advice was heard throughout the years, and in many halls and rooms.  He was sometimes either the hot summer day or the tart lemonade, no in-between.  Now that is the middle of winter, it would be nice to feel the heat from blushing cheeks from a joke he'd swing in your direction.  Above all, he was a genuine, hardworking, faithful and God-fearing man.

We will remember the stories about the Golden Arm.  We will remember the heartfelt advice, and we will remember a man's will to live. Your family, friends, and loved ones in the rooms of recovery all miss you.  Continue on, Brother in Christ.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood from 1pm to 5pm.
