Frederick Leslie Burger

July 12, 1945 — August 17, 2015

Fred passed away while camping near Montrose, Colorado which is something he enjoyed with family and friends. He was a life-time member of the NRA and an avid shooter. He served our Country during the Vietnam War and subsequently became a police officer in Pensecola, Florida. He moved to Denver to attend a gunsmithing school where he continued to work in the security industry until his retirement. Fred leaves behind his wife Patricia, sons Matthew and David, daughter Margaret and six grandchildren. A public viewing will be held on August 23, 2015 beginning at 1:00pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada. A celebration of Fred's life will be held at 5pm at 6850 Devinney St. Arvada, CO 80004. Please come casual, Bronco attire is welcomed since Fred was an avid Bronco Fan.
