Freddie Washington

Freddie France Washington, 95 of Aurora, CO passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021. She was born to her parents Aleen and Oscar Usry in Georgia in on June 15, 1925 in Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Robert M. Washington and her parents. She is survived by her children Harriet Denise Washington Blomberg and Laurence Curtis Washington, brother Rev. Joseph Usry, great niece Kalilah Dawn Shelton, several relatives and many friends.

Freddie was quite an amazing lady. In addition to being the matriarch of her family she also worked at Denver Motor Vehicle as a Title Clerk for many years. Freddie was a nurturer, she raised her two children and great niece, Kalilah Dawn Shelton. As a testament to Freddie’s nurturing ways, she poured her life into a neighbor’s adopted children and treated them as if they were her own.

Freddie loved the Lord Jesus and knew Him as her Savior. She also raised her children and great niece to know the Lord for themselves. Freddie will truly be missed, and although she has departed this world, she will continue to live on in the Kingdom of God and in our hearts.
