Fred Perry Nylander, 71, of Denver passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in his home. Born on November 15, 1944 in Denver, CO he was the son of the late Fred Perry Sr. and Laura Evelyn (Dow) Nylander. He grew up in Salida and Cheyenne, WY, and moved to Denver in 1961, where he graduated from Cherry Creek High School. Fred married Corinne Seep on July 26, 1966. He was working as a Sales Rep for G&S Oil Company at the time of his death and had previously managed service stations. Fred always had a love for cars and enjoyed golfing and fishing. He also loved antiques, coins and anything collectible. He was a fan of American Pickers and The Antiques Road Show as well as any car shows. In addition to his wife Corinne, he is survived by his five daughters: Tracy (Chris), Kelly (Eddie), Shannon (Melissa), Erin (Mark), and Megan (Andrew); his nine grand-children: Samantha, Hunter, Stone, Chase, Savanah, Gage, Austin, Peyton and Perri. He is also survived by his sister Susan Purcell, his brother, Steve Nylander and numerous sister and brother-in-law's as well as numerous nieces, and nephews. A memorial reception to honor Fred will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 12-3PM at Horan & McConaty HeartLight Center, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014. Burial will United States Navy Military Honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
