Obituary

Frank Torres, age 89, born April 27, 1937 passed away June 2, 2026 at the in-patient Hospice Center in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Frank was a beautiful guy who never met a stranger. He was a native of Colorado, attended St. Joseph Catholic High School and owned a Conoco gas station by Denver University for many years. He was blessed and blessed others during his time there. His best memory was "he never cheated anyone out of a nickel the entire time he owned he owned the station." He was always kind, helpful, and honest his entire life. After Conoco he owned Frank's Iliff Automotive, a Big A Auto Parts store on Colorado Blvd. in Denver. He had that for several years before retiring. He took up golf and loved being with all his golf buddies almost on a daily basis. He moved from Aurora area to Greeley in 2005 because "Golf was cheap in Greeley". He belonged to the men's club at both Highland Hills and Boomerang golf courses and was one happy, content man.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy, his children Chris (wife Michele Torres, Stephanie Kimbrel, Christa Smith, stepsons Jeff and Jon Wilson, his sister Barbara, his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and their families. He is proceeded in death by his son Steve Torres and wife Sherry Torres.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
