Frank Eugene Smith

Frank Eugene Smith, age 54, died at his home in Denver on March 15th, 2025. He was a graduate of Ranum High School in Westminster, CO. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in ROTC and led them to two meritorious unit awards. He went on to the Marine Corp boot camp in San Diego but suffered an injury shortly before graduation. After being discharged he went on to begin a career in restaurant management that lasted twenty-five years. Early in his career he met his wife, Kristine Michelle Smith, née Andolsek; they married in 1994 and celebrated their 30th anniversary in October of 2024. In 2016 he changed careers and began to drive for Lyft which he did for eight years.

His passions included the Denver Broncos, video games, and throughout his entire life, a love of all things Superman. He was a long-time member of Christ Church United Methodist and served the community in many ways, including Lay Leader, head cook, and Santa Claus.

He is survived by his wife Kristine, their daughters Megan and Jessica, sons Mark and Bret, and dogs Ruby and Malina. He is also survived by his four brothers, extended family, and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements will take place at Christ Church United Methodist (690 Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO 80206) on Saturday, March 29th at 1 PM; immediately after the service will be a reception for all. Burial will be private for immediate family in the summer.
