Frances M. Reed, 95, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. As a career Navy wife, she had traveled with her husband, Cmd Irvin W. Reed, to various assignment locations throughout the country. After Fran's retirement from Health & Human Services and the passing of her husband in 1988, she and her sisters traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, South America and the Orient. She is survived by her son, Gary Reed of NY, daughter, Pamela Mellone, and granddaughter, Christina Mellone of Mass, and sister, Connie Martin of CO.
