Forrest R. Christie, 87, passed away February 24, 2015. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Rose Mary; children Mark (Maureen) and Jill (Jeff) Hansen; daughter-in-law Robin; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Howard (Bennie Belle), Ralph (Kay); sister Shirley Allies; sister-in-law Mary; brother-in-law Wilmer Leptien; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by son Scott Forrest; brother Ernest; and brothers-in-law John Leptien and Milton Allies. Forrest was a long time employee of The Denver Water Board, and a WWII veteran of the US Marine Corps. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 1, 2-4 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St, Thornton. Please share condolences at HoranCares.com.
