Lt. Col. Forest E. Thorpe, (US Army ret.), 97, passed away April 22, 2009. Beloved husband of Alvina ""Foxie"" Thorpe; father of Ruth (Jim) Maness; Helen Johnson; Nancy (Bob) Staggers; Allen (Judy) Turner; grandfather of Matthew, Kevin, Amy & Robert. Forest served in the Army Air Corps for 26 years and retired a Lt. Colonel. Service on Tues., April 28th, 1pm, Horan & McConaty Chapel, 3101 So. Wads. Blvd, Lakewood. Burial, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
