Felipa Acuna

Felipa Arjon Acuña, died peacefully at home on December 19, 2018, she was 86. She was born August 22, 1932 in Huacasco, Jalisco Mexico. She was married to Florentino C. Acuña for 51 years. She was preceded in death by her son Rudy Acuña and her husband Florentino Acuña. Felipa was a loving mother, grandmother who was very committed to her family and she enjoyed gardening and was known for her highly skilled embroidery. She is survived by six children, Beatriz Wence of Kansas City, Missouri; Rose Hubbart of Annandale, Virginia; Sylvia Jacobsen of Denver, Colorado; Rick Acuña of Vienna, Virginia; Amanda Acuña of Aurora, Colorado; and Belinda Navarrete of Cheyenne, Wyoming. 9 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on January 2, 2019 at 1pm in the afternoon at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, Colorado 80014.
