Evelyn Coleman

Evelyn A. Coleman, age 95 passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 22, 2023. She was born in Wheat Ridge Colorado, August 1927 to Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Weiland, long-time Wheat Ridge residents. She graduated from Wheat Ridge High School and attended Loretta Heights College. Married Robert B. Coleman in January 1949. They lived for a short time in Salt Lake City, UT after they were married, but then lived most of their lives in the Wheat Ridge area. In addition to loving her garden and cats, she was active in the Lutheran Medical Center Auxiliary, Knolls Garden Club, Empire Club and Holy Cross Hospital Auxiliary in Salt Lake City. Her husband and siblings preceded her and she is survived by nieces and nephews.
