Evangeline Nau Mangone

Born December 24, 1913 in Corsicana, Texas to Oscar Charles Bruno (of Quero, Texas) and Jenny Lee Boyd (of Corpus Christy, Texas) Nau. Evangeline grew up in Corpus Christy, Texas and graduated from Texas Women's College in Denton, Texas with a degree in English. She taught elementary school and worked for American Airlines before moving to Denver, where she was married to Ralph Joseph Mangone on September 28, 1950. Evangeline received a Masters in Special Education from the University of Denver. She tutored and helped numerous children reach for their full potential. She was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ. She was an incredible cook, avid reader, swimmer, golfer, artist and unbridled optimist. Her life was characterized by faith hope and love. She is survived by her children Vincent (Jane), Carl (Susan), Mary Jo (Mark) Bell. Grandchildren, Paul, Mark, Cathy, Rena, Aaron (Megan), Tracy, Janessa, Joshua, Amanda, Austin, William, Christopher.
