Evangeline ""Vange"" Burgess

86, of Aurora. Ms. Burgess was born in Atlanta, Missouri. She became a Radiation Technologist and worked on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona for two years at the NIH hospital. She made many Indian friends and was fond of their culture. Ms. Burgess continued her work at Saint Josephs Hospital in Denver where she served for 26 years. Vangie had a fondness for animals and kept many dogs throughout her life. She is survived by close friends Jane Ansorge and Dorothy Trone; Niece Sonya Moore, Melodee Nelson and Lisa Mcquay; nephew Jeffrey Burgess. Visitation Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the service to follow at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Aurora.
